We’re delighted to welcome Jessica Burdett to TeamGSA as a Senior Operations Manager. Jessica joins us with a wealth of industry experience and will play an important role in delivering excellent service for our client, and supporting and developing our team across Wales and Gloucestershire.

First impressions of GSA?
Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.  Every team member I’ve spoken to have all offered support and help which has made it a lot easier settling in.  It’s really clear that GSA really care about their clients and it has been great to see the positive relationships that we have with our business partners.

What do you see as the biggest challenge(s) of your remit at GSA?
We’re experiencing the same recruitment challenges that many sectors are facing.  Staying positive and determined that I’ll soon have the right people in the right places.

What was your first job?
Working for my dad, as a sales assistant. I hated it 😂

What led you to this career?
I love working with people and having a varied day. You get this in bucket loads at GSA. Also, speaking to Gary & Lisa* during the recruitment process was inspiring, I learned a lot about the business and their passion for service delivery was palpable.
(*Gary is GSA’s UK Head of Operations and Lisa is MD)

What energises you at work?
Working with great people, and GSA has them in abundance!  You’re as good as your weakest link, so great to work with people that want to perform and be the best they can be.

What drains you at work?
Driving – but I try to make it as productive as possible and use the time to catch up on phone calls, podcasts, etc.

Any work-related accomplishments you are really proud of?
Still learning the ropes here, but hoping there will be plenty to talk about at the end of the year!😁
