Gwyneth founded GSA in 1996. Her background as a chemistry teacher developed her skills of leadership and motivation.
She has always been passionate about excellent customer service and firm in the belief that this is only achieved through partnership and attention to detail.
Lisa became Managing Director of GSA in 2016 following a wealth of experience as Commercial Director achieving business growth through the creation and execution of successful administrative and financial processes. Lisa is actively involved in our client portfolio in addition to shaping the development of the company strategy by creating processes and policies to enhance business performance.
Lisa is committed to customer service excellence and is proud of the service based partnerships and business relationships which both she and the team at GSA have created.
Our HR Director, Sam Hinds, gained a wealth of experience over 15 years working for blue chip retail organisations, leading both operational and HR teams.
The ten years experience that Sam has had within the contract cleaning industry has provided her with even greater diversity of skills in an industry that truly has people at its core. She is passionate about and committed to, the strategic alignment of the HR function to the business strategy and works closely with all key stake holder teams to ensure delivery of the business objectives.
Jason joined GSA in 1996 when it was first established and at that time was responsible for managing the cleaning operations in Wales. Jason’s knowledge of cleaning operations and experience of managing cleaning teams stood him in good stead when he moved to Scotland and took up the role of Divisional Manager in 2000.
As Director, his responsibility for the delivery of quality services together, with the commercial and operational management of client contracts now includes the Republic of Ireland.
Gary joined GSA in 2014 bringing with him a wealth of experience gained from fifteen years within the retail sector at M&S. His previous management of areas relating to food safety, property maintenance, finance and retail operations has provided him with an excellent foundation for managing large teams of people across different disciplines.
Gary is responsible for the North of the Country and is the account lead for the M&S and Matalan contracts. Gary is proactive in identifying our clients’ requirements and bringing ideas to the table. His key skills are in developing his team and identifying the correct people for the job which helps to ensure that Gary has a productive and happy team.
Regional Operations Manager
Robert joined GSA in 2015 and as Regional Operations Manager has a wealth of previous experience in managing teams on large and complex contracts, ranging from the Olympics, Paralympics and Diamond Jubilee Celebrations to major transport cleaning contracts. He is responsible for the South East Region and managing the retail contracts in that area in addition to auditing H&S standards.
Robert is a highly motivated manager and leader, with a passion and relentless focus on customer experience, service improvement and health and safety.
Regional Operations Manager
Agnieszka joined GSA in 2010 as an Area Manager working with several of GSA’s prestigious accounts in Scotland. Her previous experience of teaching and developing people saw her progress to become the company’s Training Manager.
In 2014 Agnieszka was promoted to a Regional Operations Manager. This role shows Agnieszka’s strengths in managing teams in Scotland and the North of England. Her passion for being meticulous and paying attention to detail is recognised by both clients and colleagues alike. Her ability to coach and drive her teams guarantees a high level of service and ensures our clients’ satisfaction.
Regional Operations Manager
Sonia has been with GSA since 2010 and became a Regional Operations Manager in 2015. She has a wealth of previous experience in managing teams both in the retail and leisure sectors, in addition to managing hotel and conference teams in housekeeping and catering roles.
In GSA, Sonia is now responsible for the North West Region and managing the retail contracts in that area, in addition to auditing H&S standards. Sonia is a manager who drives high performance and coaches her teams to great effect. She is also passionate about customer service and problem resolving.
Lauren commenced employment with GSA as an Accounts Assistant in 2013, gaining extensive knowledge of the business through processing all costs incurred by the business and assisting with the monthly management accounts. Her meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach resulted in a promotion to Accounts/Payroll Manager.
Lauren has implemented new compliance payroll reports and controls, resulting in better reporting function to the Executive Team. As GSA’s Finance Manager she has trained and motivated the team to achieve and maintain the newly implemented processes and reporting functions.
Health & Safety Manager
Catriona joined GSA in 2006 and prior to her becoming the Health & Safety Manager, had eight years experience in field operations, managing a variety of accounts. During her time in operations, Catriona and her team exceeded all KPI targets and she was awarded the GSA Area Manger of the Year award for 2009/10.
Having studied for, and attained her qualifications in IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH General Certificates etc. Catriona is responsible for overseeing all Health and Safety practices and procedures for GSA. In addition she is responsible for ensuring that our teams at client sites are comprehensively trained and are always working safely, adhering to the correct procedures.
Business Development Manager
Tony has been with GSA for a year and his role includes providing quality management information to all internal and external clients and managing the ISO quality assurance processes. Tony’s role also encompasses managing business development for GSA which sees him developing new client relationships and marketing the company.
Prior to GSA, he was an expert in digital records and information management, for Iron Mountain and Crown Records Management.
Service & Compliance Manager
Laura commenced employment with GSA as Payroll Administrator in 2006, gaining extensive knowledge of the business through processing payroll, and her attention to detail resulted in a promotion to Payroll Manager and then a move into the Finance Department.
In 2012 Laura’s career took a different direction when she worked as a Transport Manager and she completed her CPC in Transport Management.
We were delighted when Laura rejoined GSA in June 2016 as our Service & Compliance Manager, which involves the management of both the company’s Support Centre and the Payroll Department.
