We’re delighted to welcome Holly and Aimy to GSA’s HR Team.  Read on to find out more about what they believe will be the biggest challenge for HR professionals this year, and ’em…… what their favourite snacks are! 😁

What were your first impressions of GSA?

Aimy: Everyone within the office is really friendly and gave  me such a warm welcome! This has helped me to settle quickly into the job, and my HR colleagues have really made me feel part of the team. I’m looking forward to progressing with GSA, and continuing to learn about all aspects of the business.

Holly: When I first started at GSA I was welcomed by a lovely team at head office, who have supported my move into the company;  I couldn’t have asked for a smoother transition. GSA continues to expand, reaching new clients without losing sight of the needs of their existing clients. I believe the GSA achieves this with a huge team effort, with every one committed to providing a great service for every client.

What do you consider to be the biggest challenges for HR team this year?

Holly: For me, this will be responding to the impact of the pandemic on mental health of all staff.  In addition, ensuring awareness of modern slavery and safeguarding all employees from potential violations.

Aimy: Remote working. The transition to a remote working culture has not been seamless for most companies. The pandemic forced many companies to put in place remote working programmes and to quickly build strategies to facilitate employees remote working.  As frontline workers, GSA will be less impacted by this, and the now more-favoured hybrid working model.

And now those team-critical questions….

Favourite snack?

Aimy: Nik Naks, without a doubt!

Holly: Mint Poppets – not so easy to get your hands on, so when I see them in a shop, I panic buy a little 😁

Someone I’d like to meet

Holly: Michelle Obama

Aimy: Rihanna
