With the 4Rs as our foundations, GSA has been fortunate to enjoy client and staff loyalty. Our values also provide a focus that has supported our ambitions to successfully and organically grow our business. Our growth has been steady and deliberate, with time invested across the business for consolidation. This ensures all new client expectations are met.
Our History
Established in 1997, we now employ over 4000 people across 1100 client sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
We are proud to work in partnership with many of the UK's best known retail brands, across stores and distribution centres.
2017- 2020 saw GSA enjoy strong organic growth across our key sectors of retail, distribution centres and corporate office cleaning saw our turnover in the UK increase by 53%. This growth was mirrored in Ireland, where turnover increased by 48%.
The team successfully secured the contract for Selfridges flagship store on Oxford Street. Contract wins within the distribution centre sector also strengthened our growing expertise in this area.
After 13 years in finance and commercial roles within GSA, Lisa Laird is promoted to Managing Director.
From a single contract cleaning a manufacturing plant, the company invested in its people, processes and relationships in retail sector and turnover increased to £3.4m
GSA turnover increased to £13.9m, with new contracts secured with a growing number of blue chip clients in corporate, retail and manufacturing businesses across the UK and Republic of Ireland.
With the hard work and dedication of our team, we achieved a strategic milestone in 2012, celebrating clients and contracts, in every across county/region across the whole of the UK. Turnover reached £20m.
The team celebrates our 20-year anniversary with a refresh of our GSA branding. We invested in new IT and operational support systems, to strengthen service delivery. Turnover reaches £ 26.5m.
